As always, Smart Housing has seen some new updates. The most recent update has been to the Resident Portal, which has been given some new features and a facelift.

Old Portal                    New Portal

All features can now be viewed in one place so you don’t have to click through tabs trying to figure out which tab is the one you want. It’s all there when you open your account and prominently labeled for easy navigation.

One new feature we’ve added to the resident portal is the ability for the resident to see the transactional history of invoices and payments.

A new ability has also been added to auto-pay. You can either select auto-pay to pay the full balance amount, meaning that whatever amount your ledger shows as being owed is the amount that will be paid. Or you can select a specific amount, like $300, to pay each month.

The last one we want to tell you about is the ability to have more than one property listed so that if you have more than one apartment to pay for, you can now do this through Smart Housing. This is especially helpful for businesses that pay for employee apartments.

We’re excited for the new Resident Portal and more software updates coming soon!
